The new 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro will be available in silver and space grey finishes. iPad Pro is available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB configurations.
The starting price is Rs 71,900 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs 85,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model, and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro starts at Rs 99,900 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs 113,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model from apple.com.
The new iPad Pro can be ordered from April 30 on apple.com and in the Apple Store app. The product will be available in 31 countries and regions, including the US.
The Cupertino giant also launched a new iMac, which is available in a lot of colours, including Green, orange, yellow, red, and blue. The iMac is powered by Apple’s own Silicon, the M1, with a 1080p FaceTime camera on the front of the new iMac. It comes with a Truetone display, and there are two small fans instead of a thermal system.
The company introduced a small and elegantly designed iPhone-AirTag to keep track of and find the items that matter most with Apple’s Find My app.
Once attached to a handbag, keys, backpack, or other items, the accessory taps into the vast, global ‘Find My’ network and helps in locating a lost item, all while keeping location data private and anonymous with end-to-end encryption, the company said in a statement.
AirTag can be purchased in one and four packs for just Rs 3,190 and Rs 10,900, respectively, and will be available beginning April 30.
AirTag is small and lightweight and features precision-etched polished stainless steel, and is IP67 water- and dust-resistant. A built-in speaker plays sounds to help locate AirTag, while a removable cover makes it easy for users to replace the battery.
The iPhone maker also launched Apple TV supporting Dolby Vision and backed by an A12 Bionic processor. The new 4K Apple TV allows users to play HDR content at a faster framerate. This means that the sports and other high-resolution content will look good. Users will also be able to use their iPhone’s light sensor to calibrate the Apple TV to help adjust any slight shifts in colour and brightness.
Users can also AirPlay the 4K 60fps Dolby Vision videos shot using the iPhone 12. The newly unveiled Apple TV 4K is priced at $179 for 32GB and $199 for 64GB. Users can purchase the product in May. The company has also unveiled a new Siri Remote with a new design and click wheel.
Made of aluminum, the remote has dedicated buttons for navigating menus, which should solve some of the issues that cropped up in the earlier remote. This will be shipped in the second half of May with the new Apple TV.
